How to upload photos?

Hi All.
Was a regular contributor to the "real good number plates" thread.
Changed phone, one cheap Samsung to another and now can't upload because photo files are all too big.
Any help greatly appreciated.

BTW if giving technical advice.. do so as if giving to a 2 year old.

I use a programme called irfanview to look at photos.

Then you can right click on an image you want to reduce and choose "open with", then choose irfanview.

Once in, you can resize with the shortcut CTRL+R. It brings up a menu which shows the number of pixels either way, so just reduce the number in each box a fair bit. Then "save as" (CTRL+S) so you have a separate low res version (possibly name it with "low res" on the end of the name).

Then voila, you can upload that smaller image.

There is probably a simpler way of doing it but that's what I do.
