Hello,

I've been contemplating changing my 3 series for a 4 series m sport. The problem is my credit is not great and by applying for car finance is not doing any good either.

I was excited when I heard about something called guaranteed car finance but apparently is not a real thing

The main question is

Are there any genuine companies that offer car finance without damaging an already poor credit?

Any alternatives?

PS: My car is currently worth about £9k so I would put quite a large deposit down.

What’s wrong with your current car?

If nothing, wouldn’t you be better off keeping it and spending your time improving your credit rating rather than hurting it for an almost similar car?

Talk to the supplying dealer. They get round these problems every day; just don’t expect a decent interest rate.

Is it presumptuous to ask if you really need any more credit in your life at the moment?
