Hi all,
My car currently suffers from long cranking issue only when the car has been on a journey and then parked for more than 15-20 minutes. When I say long I mean I would need to crank it more than once, each time for no more than 5-8 seconds. After which the car would stumble to a start.
Few things to note which is;
•It starts fine in the morning.
•If I don’t leave the car turned off for a long period of time ( few minutes) the car would start up fine.
Thank you all in advance,
PT

Initial feeling would be leaking injectors......

Fuel drips causing flooding in the time frame you mention. Cold start and restart wouldn't be affected.

Have a look here

Your engine ECU needs to know certain parameters to be able to adjust the fuelling for a cold and a hot start, it could be something as simple as an engine temperature sensor, or the fuel pressure regulator.

Join rennlist, this forum has a knowledge base on there is off the scale, and you can ask for recommendations for good specialists where you are.
