Rust

Hi Guys - anyone playing Rust? Searched out a few old threads without much action on them so thought I would start a new and up to date thread.

I am currently playing of a 5x server, no blueprints with a Friday night wipe schedule.Predominantly american based but quite fun. Got a little team of two going on so make some decent progress - my partner in crime is a crack shot with an AK, so we are pretty good at people farming.

Greatest achievement so far is amassing 180 rockets and 80 C4 (on a 5x).

What servers are you playing on?

Me and a couple of guys from on here dip in to it occasionally for a couple of days, normally after an update but haven't done so for a while. None of us are particularly good and generally end up getting killed a lot

I think most of our enjoyment comes from the getting started, building, etc phase, we don't tend to fare well when pvp and doing monument runs comes in to play

I gave up on survival games. Made a lot of good friends around the world that I'm still in touch with but hard to get the enjoyment out of them now I'm back working a regular job. About 15 of them are playing vanilla rust atm after a recent wipe and I do miss it a lot (along with Ark, Conan, Atlas) but I just don't have the time now.

Never played before and I'm generally poor at these games, but I've just used some Steam vouchers to buy it and currently installing!

I'll be up for some multiplayer once I've got the hang of it.

Played a lot of rust, only ever solo...I would be well up for a group effort!

Played it a bit, but only ever solo then got fed up of the toxicity of the other people playing and getting raided all the time. Would be up for a session at some point.

I played solo for a while, but ended up teaming with another guy which has made all the difference. Alone the grind can get a bit tedious, but with a friend it is pretty cool. Plus my team mate is an absolute crack shot which helps a huge amount.

I only tend to play on a 5x or modded servers as if we lose it all, it only takes a day to farm it back. I am not sure I could stomach getting three weeks into a wipe and getting raided.
