Hi all,

I recently had the bonnet on my 2015 Golf stripped back to metal, primed, painted and clear coated. I now want to get the paint corrected (if it needs it) and PPF applied. I assume I need to wait for the paint and clear coat to fully harden before doing this, if so, how long should this I leave it before doing this?

Thanks!

A friend of mine had his Elise resprayed and the company he used said about 2 weeks. Just makes sure most of the volatiles have escaped.

Speak to the place that did your painting & follow their advice as they're the ones you'll be trying to get to redo the work for free if your 'correction' & PPF result in problems.
If you just press ahead regardless then don't be surprised if things went wrong that they would refuse to have anything to do with it.

Check with your painter.

Most modern paints can be polished and PPF'd once they have dried fully.
