Hi. To be fair I probably new that my wiper hoses needed refreshing but today I managed to knock off the connector that goes under the cover.
I’ve had a search but can’t seem to track down the bit that I need ( that the pipe pushes onto)
Can anyone please let me know the proper description so I can look them up and replace.
Also is it straight forward to change them ? I seem to remember reading somewhere that it can be a bit of a pain ?
Many thanks for any help. Best regards.

I'm considering changing my washer system and noticed my pipes go through the perforated grill but can be jiggled up and down, don't think that's right 'cause they aint sealed, need to look into that so i'm interested to know more as well.

Was watching a Tech' putting in new tubing recently, which because all the existing tubing was missing envolved cutting holes below the wiper spindles in the engine bay, re-tubing then covering the holes. i did notice there was a fitting which he popped into the scuttle with the new pipes attached to which is probably the part that gets broken easily.

So grab and secure that broken part before it disappears into the GRP.hehe

cool

Edit: Is this it from Racetech, they say it fits in a grommet in the bulkhead?

Thanks for the extra information. I don’t want to start drilling holes. I will maybe try to fix the remaining grommet in place until I get a chance to replace it before it’s lost forever behind the bulkhead.
Best regards

I’ve ordered the replacement connector and tube from racetech and in preparation very carefully pulled the broken connector with tube still attached through the hole and cable tied it in place so I don’t loose it.
Thanks for your help. Seems like I might of hopefully dodged a bullet as I’ve still got the tube attached.
Best regards
