Networking/Telematics style software

Wondering if some on here can help, and I hope I get this across well.
I've been looking, rather unsuccessfully, for a piece of software that shows plans of a building with their designated WiFi points on each floor visually outlining location. This should pinpoint access points on a network and acknowledge if they are live or not with a colour code e.g. Red not able to be pinged and Green as pinged and live in their areas of coverage.
The same would be required at a later date for telematics, so if the software has 3/4G capability of ping/pulse for location tracking for vehilces or static areas (e.g. cabins/trailers), that would be an advantage.

SolarWinds NPM (Network Performance Monitor) can provide WiFi heat maps which show the APs and connected clients

Rdjohn: No, not related, but useful as I wasn't aware of that.
Harpoon: That is rather like most RF site surveying software like Ekahau (which is what I'm considering using alongside this requirement).
The software is required more for a visual live representation of viewable networks with APs to see what is live on a floorplan basis.

Probably broadly similar to the Solar winds system already highlighted but does this do what you want?
