Faster 3rd car at 21

Hello all,
I was recently informed by that the PCP on my 2018 1.4 Corsa can be ended at the end of the year, alot earlier then I expected. This was a pleasant surprise as I extremely bored of this car now, as it is stupidly slow, especially for a 1.4. The modern luxury's are nice, such as the heated sets, heated steering wheels and Apple car play, but I couldn't car less about them, I wanna go a bit faster! Paying £200 a month on the pcp just feels like dead money to me (Parents talked me into it) and I want to own my next car.
My budget would be around 5k, I will also be 21 that time so insurance will be a bit cheaper too. Mileage wise, I do alot with working away from home, so I average 20k a year. I don't mind having to spend a bit more on fuel to drive something more exciting, so roughly 30mpg would be fine.
I am currently thinking:
3 Series 330i
Ep3 Civic Type-r (bit chavy, i know)
Nissan 350z (Probably too much to insure)
mk5 Golf GTI
Any other suggestions?

I went from an old 1.4cl polo to a mk5 gti 3 years ago (at 25, 4 yrs NCB) and the insurance was pretty reasonable.
Love the car, still have it now with no plans to get rid. Good community following online with lots of support and information (especially on mk5golfgti.co.uk). Have found the car to be very reliable though as with any car there are things to watch out for. Has cost a bit in preventative maintenance to keep tip top. Find it to be a great all rounder for everything from long journeys to a couple of short track sessions. ~38mpg on long motorway runs, ~32 mpg overall average in my ownership.
A stage 1 remap after a year made it feel a completely different car again.

I would have thought MPG would have been alot lower(Saves work some expense)! The mk5 keeps looking more and more appealing. Love the car, still have it now with no plans to get rid. What are you basing that on?They're reliable and incredibly good value for money these days.
Was reading something the other day there regarding young folk insuring cars. The jist of it was, a 20 year old can insure a quick car as long as they stay away from the obvious cars that 20 year olds normally put in fields ie old type R's, STs and GTi's. Try thinking a bit differently. For example you can get an A3 with the golf GTi engine.
What about a 3.0 Z4? I sold my old one to a guy who was only about 20. Young free and single is the best time to own such a car as you'll be restricted to boring hatchbacks/saloons etc as soon as life gets more complicated. They are really reliable, more than quick enough, sound good and surprisingly economical. Mine averaged low to mid 30s.
