Starts next week as per usual practice Tuesday, Racing Thursday evening and Saturday live on bbc website. Going to be a sad one after losing William Dunlop I'm sure there will be some big tributes.

I'm off there to watch. Never been before, no idea where I am going - all I know is that I'm on the Cairnryan - Belfast boat next Thursday morning and I'm staying in a hotel next to the golf course in Portrush. Got seats in a grandstand. Meals in some place called the Mermaid it sez here. I have no idea - my mate booked it all. Meeting him in Dumfries the night before.

Hope it's good.

You should enjoy it weather looks great next week, if you taking the bike follow the convoy of hundreds of bikes up the coast.

I am massively paranoid about Scotland and getting pulled, so I simply don't speed there at all. There's their loopy drink-drive limit too.

If the weather is good, looks like it will be! I'm getting the early ferry Saturday morning and the half 7 evening back, only £30 for a day trip, but obviously no sleep for 24 hours!
I'd rather go over Friday, but camping is always a nightmare at the NW, so few sites and they want you to commit to the whole week. Unless anyone knows somewhere?

Went last year for the first time and stayed in a house on the hill behind the pits. Was absolutely brilliant - had the weather, no hiccups and was superb fun.

A word of warning tho - got pulled and asked to blow at 8am at the end of the dual carriageway (they were stopping everyone) on the way back to the ferry. If you are out on the drink make sure you stop in plenty of time to ride / drive the next day. I was advised to get some breakfast smile

Going again too this year, from Cornwall to Holyhead in Portrush for Thur night racing.

Gotta visit the Harbour Bar as a client's family run it.

Coming home via Pendine Speed Week, on Sunday.

I have a sneaky feeling if it goes OK at the NW, he may even be at the TT.

I went last year & stayed in a cheap hotel in the centre of Belfast - left at 7am to drive up to Portstewart and made it without too much trouble. I paid the tenner to park at the golf club. Drive back afterwards was a bit slow, but once you're on the motorway it's fine.

Derry's an option too for a cheap hotel and only 45 min drive to port.

Getting underway shortly the practice.

Great coverage - love the NW200 - always exciting and always seems to mark the start of the summer for me as well as knowing TT around the corner.

Still Apillia powered.

Their own V4 didn't meet regulations from memory
