993 oil leak

Can anybody recommend a competent engine repairer within 'reasonable' travelling distance of Bournemouth to rectify an oil leak(s) possibly coming from timing chain covers?

Have you tried jmg in Ferndown?

Gt1 in Chertsey or Northway in reading.

Both probably about a 1.5 hours but well worth it

Have only heard negative things about JMG and wasn't too impressed when I called there once.
I know Northway...not too sure about their engine work though.

Canford Classics are only 20 miles from you with a lot of knowledge of air cooled cars. The main business is restoring older 911s so not sure how new they do (but it is basically the same engine design in a 993). Worth a phone call as they also may be able to recommend someone if they don't do it themselves.

Don't even entertain JMG, my experience there was simply unbelievable, he seems to employ work experience kids!
