White wine? Anybody tried it? Thoughts?

Can't find anything of use on the net. Just thinking of a straight replacement with the water as I've been given a gallon of homemade that as far as wine is concerned.....well let's say I wont be drinking it!!

I imagine it would be disgusting. If it’s foul to drink, is mixing it with yeast and flour going to make it more or less palatable do you think?!

Same here actually. However, I think the bread will be rank. Prove me wrong!

There is an old adage that you should never cook with wine that you won't drink...

It's definitely staying on the menu..........

Went to the pub for the football, told Wifey I’d used a “secret ingredient” and not to try it till I got back! Fat chance of that as her Mum came round and they had a sandwich she loved it and asked if it was cheese I’d used!

Anyway it certainly tastes different but I can’t describe it.

Couple of slices left for supper with Brie and a Pear yum

Might try flat Strongbow next hehe

I make a bread with beer in it. That's really nice.

Interested to know if you decarbonate it first? If not how does it not rise like buggery then collapse?
