GT4 tyre pressure’s for track day advice?
Discussion
Assuming you're new to track days, please excuse me if not.
You'll need to take a pressure gauge and a tyre inflator as you will be letting air out of the tyres as they come up to temprature. This will need to be added back in as the tyres cool and you need to drive home.
Also make sure you take a wheel bolt socket and torque wrench to check your wheel nuts before and after every session.
Try the oem pressures 31/32psi front and rear and then check temps/wera and adjust accordingly.
Have fun, saty safe

What it says on the door shuts for a novice, , you might have to do 2 bleed downs to get stable pressures, if you have Dunlop’s good luck, if you have cups, 2 bleed downs should last you all day.
Don’t do it pre track time it kills your tyres, so many people let 10psi out their tyres beforehand , it’s bad practice and damaging to your very expensive tyres to go out with low PSi. But a ,lot of people do it.
I do 2 laps as sighters to get to grips with the layout again or any new track curbs ,changes, come in and bleed down, then do 5 laps come in and bleed down again, that’s pretty much it.
Check tyres after lunch and for going home, if they are a bit low after lunch , just don’t push hard for a few laps until back upto pressure, but they don’t drop that much I find.
Again don’t take too much advice on forums, people run all sorts of geo and are at all sorts of levels, some stay out for 5 laps some 20 laps, keep it simple, the oem geo is dire on track anyway, so you will be fighting or driving round that as is. Only way to set correct pressure is to have a mate in the pits with a pyro, nothing else inc advice works hence why I said stick to the door shut pressures.
Above all have fun and if you like it get a geo and buy a pyro, then you can set what’s right for you which I find are the best pressures :-)

OP be careful at Brands, I thought they had fairly tough noise restrictions and the GT4 is pretty loud at full chat (in a good way, but not so friendly to the noise meter). Keep the sports exhaust off perhaps.
Yep, experienced this. Keep the sports exhaust off, and short shift. They’ll usually give you at least one warning. But main thing is just to get out there and enjoy the event, and post up about your experiences here.
