Hi,

I have a 1992 Griffith 430 where the previous owner started a RHD-to-LHD conversion on. Looking at the gear-levers position on the transmission, it seems to be prepared for RHD by means of the bracket and underlying linkage.

Does anyone here know if there is a LHD version of this bracket and linkage, or how is the gear-lever otherwise positioned to the left of the transmissions centre-line?

In attached picture, I have the version on the far right.

Thanks in advance for any info on how the LHD gear-lever position is achieved.

That's my picture !! No worries.

Good question and did TVR have those right hand drive LT77 shorter gear lever adapters specially made???

If not, you could upgrade to a T5 gearbox but you'll need a programable speedo.

Sorry for using your picture, it seems to be the only one around showing the bracket i refer to.

So what transmission do I seem to have?

Would be interesting to know how TVR built LHD Griffiths of the same year.
