Well after Saturday's rain off, we have 2 choices.

Saturday 2nd of July or Saturday 3rd of September.

My preference is the 2nd of July (I'm in America 3rd of September).
Unfortunately this clashes with the Viper Club BBQ down on the South Coast, but then I thought about it and if the Viper Boys and Girls want to run they could do and still leave at about 4 p.m. and be at the BBQ for 6 p.m.
As for us Corvette drivers I can't think of a good excuse why we couldn't re-arrange it for then.

I spoke to Santa Pod and anyone with pre-booked tickets for Saturday, if you send them in to Santa Pod they will re-issue tickets for the 2nd of July.

2nd July is problem as some of us are going down friday to Southampton for a bit of a drink, then saturday is already sorted, we've a cruise and the caters are booked to dish up food at 3pm

Nad and Joel are thinking of re-arranging their tickets for the mopar nats on the saturday before TOTB (we did the same last year) Problem is that is a much busier day and you wouldnt get many runs in.

3rd september is always going to be dodgy weather wise..

It ashame it rained on saturday as there didnt seem that many other cars there, so there would of been lots of runs. Unless they knew better and didnt even bother showing up

2nd July is not possible for me either as I'm at a wedding that day. I am arranging the drag race n bbq event on Friday evening 1st July at Shoreham airport. ( I didn't know there was a Viper event on the south coast on the 2nd). So September will be my prefered date, provided that Santa Pod declare last Saturday a wash out and give me a replacement T&T voucher!!
2.5 hours of driving to the Pod followed by 3.5 driving back didn't constitute the best of days but that's drag racing for you.....

Check out santapod.co.uk, look under pod news and there is a bit on the cancelled peak performance day which says tickets valid for any peak performance day until May 06. I'd have thought the track would be better in September as its the Euro finals the following weekend and a lot of the competitors may be testing.

it reads:

Peak Performance - 21/5/05

Unfortunately the Peak Performance Test & Tune Day on Saturday 21st May was completely rained off. Anyone with tickets to this event can present them at any other Santa Pod Raceway run event for a discount of the full face value until May 2006. A race voucher can be exchanged for any other Peak Performance day until May 2006, old vouchers must be sent in to the office and new vouchers booked in advance.

Some people are going, I unfortunately have to take my car in for some work so won't be there. Please send me you time slips. I am planning that any timeslips from the calendar year 2005 will be valid and at the end of the year I will award the prizes......
