One of them Nigerian scams actually worked

My wife’s 30 year old cousin is a bit slow, has learning difficulties, still has managed to knock out 3 children.

On Facebook over the past week she has split up with her boyfriend and got into a relationship with who is in the army, has posted his pictures up

Come to today, her pothead boyfriend logs in on her account and posts up messages of the girl and this scam artist. She has been sending him money over the past week for food, the scam
artist pretending to be in the army.

The most surprising of the scenario wasn’t how stupid she is but that she receives £1100 a month for having the 3 children

A couple of hundred pound sent. Pictures of the scam artist were traced back to some popular bodybuilder in google image search

I can't make any sense of this? So Charlie's wife's boyfriend's sister's partner is special needs and gets £1100 a month for it, but got scammed out of £200 or something? So Charlie's wife's boyfriend's sister isn't looking after someone who obviously needs looking after?

A decent wage ... to earn £270 in 3 hrs after tax on PAYE requires an annual salary of c.£310k - that’s more than “decent” imho even for PH standards!

Even if you mean per day, that’s still c.£115k

Sadly the internet makes it easy for scammers and fraudsters to find victims easily.
Those with learning difficulties and the elderly are particularly vulnerable.

My best friend gave away around £20k to one of these. He's got severe autism. It was partly his parents fault for letting him have control of his own bank account.
