Absolutely cannot abide this lowest form of trash TV, sad that it takes a death for it to be canned though.

If they died a week later it would normally not be linked to the Kyle show.

If a Blind Date contestant died a week after filming they wouldn't suspend the show.

There must be more to this story.

A family feud, enflamed by Kyle leading to murder a week later?

There doesn't seem to be a timescale for the death after the show's filming that I can see so 'after the show' could mean in the car park when leaving the studio, I think that would be key information.

The article says "a week after the recording".

As a piece of total speculation my guess would be suicide following a ‘reveal’ on the show. Awful news.

Sad news about the participant. I've never understood the show, why anyone would go on it to air their dirty laundry or why anyone would watch it. Whenever, I've caught the odd glimpse of it on TV, it always seems to be vulnerable, poorly educated people on it and quite frankly, they seem to be taken advantage of, unless of course, they're paid royally for making fools of themselves on National TV.

I don't think it will be missed.

15 minutes of fame is more important than national humiliation.

See Naked Attraction and others for reference.

What's wrong with Naked Attraction?

the contestants get shipped to the studio and put up in a hotel for the night as I understand it.

I must say, I'd miss it. Nothing makes a hangover better of a weekend than a little JK and a Bloody Mary.

Have heard stories about them letting people have a few just before the show, but they may be just that. Given how unreliable lie detectors are, I wonder how many relationships have ended due to incorrect results?

I would think suicide, with the person referencing the episode being the reason either to someone or in a letter

Probably more likely.

I hope wasn't a bloke who believed a child was his only for the Kyle DNA test to prove he wasn't the father.

Maury show is good for that, especially the "your not the father" episodes.

He should've been binned when he was caught cheating on his missus.

If you can't practice what you preach, you can fk off in my book.

Close.

Suicide following the failure of a lie detector test on the show.
