Stratstone are offering the M140i at £379 deposit; £379 / month over 4 years for 8,000 miles a month on PCP (not lease). I know a new 140 is imminent, but this seems a great deal - not sure any other hot hatch would come close to this sort of price on a PCP...

Currently in an FK2 (previous shape) Type R which I adore. 2.5 years old, 14,500 miles, with a balloon looming of £16k, which will cost me about £250 / month, but no warranty, breakdown cover etc....

I did look at the new Type R but looking at payments north of £500 before putting a deposit down.

Seems to be a no-brainer with BMW effectively adding a £10k+ deposit contribution, but not sure I can bear to part with my Civic just yet. Change my mind?

TRL@ babybmw is offering the same for £372 + £372 x 47 (assuming its the 5 door you're interested in)

Every little helps

Edit - also, apparently there are very few slots left so if you're interested I'd get a move on!

There's been good deals going on them through most of the life of the M135i/M140i.

If you fancy getting probably the last 6-cyl compact RWD hatchback then crack on, you won't be able to for much longer! Loved mine and was tempted to buy another at the end of the lease, but we had a second kid on the way and it was a bit cramped for the time. When they're bigger I might be tempted back.

One of the sales guys are BMW (Park Lane?) posted in the 40ix Facebook group that some orders are now being cancelled/refused and that they themselves only have one more available - spec already specified.

Still worth trying through TRL if you can though.

Yup.

Long running M140i discounts, but already talked about here

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Hard to refused at the prices they are being offered at. 5 Door, auto, Pro Media, heated seats, F/R parking sensors, etc. £28,300. Local dealer too. smile

I got a high spec 5dr auto for £380 deposit £380 a month over 2years ago

No new news here other than the clock is ticking on them and when they are gone, they are gone - forever. Never again will there be a sonorous 6cyl RWD hatch.

It seems the order books are now closed on build slots for these, with only stock cars now available.

If anyone is dithering, time is running out...

TRL has a few decent spec'd cars knocking about at the mo, all of which just sneak under the higher VED bracket.

I collect mine in just under a month - and can't wait.

The deals on these have been very good for ages - mine was no deposit, £412 a month on 12k per year with pro nav and heated seats.

I'm trying my best to get into one of these but stock is very limited now, have a few dealers trying to find a decent car at a decent spec.

Pretty sure TRL has a few. Check out his thread on BabyBMW.

Just one 3 door and one 5 door left now, I believe.

We had this problem even back in March. Whilst there appeared to be cars on "the system" any dealer my dealer approached to get the car released played the "oh we've just sold it today" or "we're in the process of registering it as a demo" card rather than release it.

Hope it works out and you get one sorted.

Bit the bullet and ordered one today from TRL. Higher spec than I was originally after, but temptation got the better of me, and I think it's one of the only cars that will be a good replacement for my Mustang at the same sort of price.

A lot of people are getting these because the odo’s turn back very easily compared to the virtual cockpits etc

Yeah, Golf R. S3, RS3 and Leon Cupras require new VC’s, A45 can only be blocked which the dealer can easily catch.

So I’ve been told.
