I've been offered a T350T by a dealer who claims it is finished in Polar Silver. He has sent me hi-res pictures, but ill be honest, i cant tell the difference between it and Brilliant Silver!

He claims that it has a blue finish to it, but im not convinced. Does anybody here know if there is such a colour, or is he making it up? If it does exist, does anybody have any pictures showing this 'blue finish' to it (it doesn't have to be on a T350!), it would be much appreciated.

TIA
Kevin

I've heard of Polar Silver before so I assume it is Ford or similar - have a look at the new car colour choices. Trefor does a Google ... Porsche.

www.911uk.com/car.asp?stockid=12772

It does look a bit blue. Nice.

After reading about the cracks in wings and other problems people have had I wouldn't blame you if you went for this car BTW. Lots of warranty

I had my Tamora painted in Polar silver back in the Spring of 2002 when I visited the factory and saw some classy examples coming off the Production line.

I was told at the time that is was a Porche colour, not one you get on Boxsters, but only found on 911's.

It compliments the black detail on the body superbly.

What's your E'mail address, I'll send some photos.

LOL

I am trying, believe me im trying, but i can't seem to find a colour combo that i am happy with, or when i do find one there is a problem with the car itself. The problem is that as soon as a potential car comes along that 'seems' to fit my requirements, i need a day or so to stop beign excited and get a sense of clarity in my life, before making a firm decision!

5 years later im still on the TT-Forum and moderating. Total posts.... well its close to 7000 now, which isn't a bad PPD average.

As for the T350, i really am hooke. As i said in a previous posting, i have never been this excited about a car since i took delivery of my first TT back in 2000. The S2000 i have now has been a good stop gap for the past 12 months, but it doesn't conjour up the magic i am after in terms of the car feeling constantly special, which after driving the T350... it does!

I do have a few options in front of me though, so soon my constant boring initial posts will be over and i can enjoy driving!

Cheers
Kevin

Kevin - thought I would add my two penneth as have read many of your posts searching for a T350t. I used to own a VX220 and vowed never to buy anything that I could not take the roof off again, however like you after seeing and having a go in a T350 I was hooked.

Many of your posts mention the wind noise issue with the t version which is what I also experienced, so I ended up buying a c with aircon and have not looked back! To be honest, I really do not miss the whole 'roof off' thing and am just glad I got the car I wanted that has not let me down since buying.

Good luck anyway and hope you find the one for you soon

Thanks CS.

I testdrove a T350C on a gloroiusly sunny day and to be honest i felt chlostrophobic, so I have decided that i can live with a little wind noise if it means getting that 'open' feeling when the sun is out. I just have to be patient to get the right car.

BTW, what colour is your 350? It looks stunning!

Thanks! Its called Balaeric Blue and has a green tint to it, although this never seems to show up very well in photos.

If you find the c too claustrophobic then it seems the t is the only one for you, so happy hunting and good luck

Rob.
