Hi all, I’m looking for recommendations for a company that can do high quality plastic welding (to a bumper) in the Midlands area. I’m happy to travel within a 50 mile radius of Birmingham if anyone can recommend the right person (preferably from first hand experience of using them)

Lots of people have said “don’t bother, just use the latest all singing, all dancing professional mesh repair kits”, which would be fine, but the bumper gets a bit on the toasty side being a 996, so it needs to welded properly by someone that knows their bumper materials (it says PP on the inside of the bumper, which I presume means Polypropylene?) and understands how to undertake the welding process properly and neatly.

Many thanks it advance.

There's really only 2 types of plastic used to make modern bumpers and both can be welded with the same filler sticks and either a soldering torch or a hot airgun .
It's really not rocket science, I'd have thought any bodyshop should be able to do it
