Ladies and Chaps

Considering an B7 '07 RS4 4.2 Sal/AVT/Cabs with c.90k -110k on the clock.

What should the service history have at this stage ?

Any other tips appreciated.

Great choice, I will soon be looking for a saloon with 80-100k on the clock. Theres plenty of info out there, as said the PH guide is pretty good, but IMO you get the best insight by talking to previous/current owners.
Check out RS246.com it's the largest forum, in the UK at least, for B7 RS4s, and lots of good useful information, guides, and very helpful owners on there.

Will it be a daily driver or a weekend toy? I have a diesel A3 daily driver and am considering selling as it's getting old and just daily driving the RS4 as my commute is only 12 miles each way on a nice national speed limit country road without any traffic.

...a little note on the front of the service book saying "open your wallet now!".

Servicing on those is one thing, proper maintenance repair another completely different one (with these a row of stamps do not neccesarily make for a good car). Awesome cars, expensive to keep them that way.

Have a really good read of the buyers guide already linked and the many threads on here, RS246, AudiSRS etc... Their quirks, faults, and foibles are well documented.
