Does anyone know where the Fun Fair is located this year? Apparently the carnival workers rioted because the site was relocated to a place they didn't like, and I couldn't find info on how of if that was resolved.

It was running at the Moto 24

Its just down the hill from the start / finish...or at least it was in April...you cant miss the enormous wheel wherever you are

I love the concept of carnival workers rioting.
I'd in paticular like to see just how much more punchy pikies can bet than normal. Did the aco ban stting at the side of the road?

I think the bother with the fairground workers was more a dispute with the local council about where they parked up for the winter, and it was more your typical French barricades job than a full on riot

I hope the death-karting is still there. That's a complete frigging hoot - can't believe it hasn't been banned yet. One of ours broke his hand on it 5yrs ago after he hit the edge, put his hand down on the boards and had it run over

Is the Fun Fair a permanent fixture at the circuit? Carnivals are generally a seasonal event in the U.S., following the county-fair circuit during the summer. The workers come to town, set the whole thing up, run it for two weeks, then tear it all down and move on to the next fair-town. What a life that must be. If the Le Mans wheel is a big one, then I guess that suggests that it ain't gonna be moved.

The fair comes and goes within the week.
