Does anyone know the dimensions of the spigot bearing used in the chevy-porsche combo?

is that the throwout bearing in American English or the support bearing inside the end of the crankshaft?

that'll be the one......have made a 27.7mm x 24mm shell and ordered a 24x17x20mm needle roller bearing, hopefully that will work, but why is it that building takes such an effort, brackets, bearing, pipes plus all sorts of different fittings, weird bolt threads, different bolt patterns, I guess I'd forgotten the joy of individuality.

The spigot bearing is made by KEP in America. The adapter OD matches the GM LS engine crankshaft and the bearing matches the Porsche input shaft.
Make sure that you get the correct one. The VW style will fit but is not wide enough to properly support the transaxle input shaft and uses a needle bearing instead of a roller bearing. They originally sent me the VW version in error. Good thing that I mocked everything up and checked that the input shaft was properly supported in the bearing.

Meaning you need to choose the Porsche style bearing for a LS engine?
