What fluids don’t mix

I have a 6 month old daughter who for her age seems very interested in small detail

I often make her some toys out of old cardboard, bottles etc which seem to keep her attention for a long time

This afternoon she was kept entertained for around an hour by a innocent smooth bottle with 3 large ball bearings in, she managed to after lots of practice get them to move slowly, fascinating to watch.

I was going to bit some glitter or little bits of torn up foil in some vegetable oil to see if a bottle of that would amuse her, which got me with a combo of water / veg oil which doesn’t mix unless you really shake it

Is there other house hold stuff I can add to the mix of veg oil / water to create a multi layer thing.

I’m going to super glue the lid on so it should be sage within reason
