Light lunch near Green Park or St James?
Discussion
The Blue Boar is just off St James Park and comes recommended by my colleagues. Unfortunately, I've never quite got the time and go to the Pret next door. Looks good though.

There’s Henry’s Bar bang opposite Green Park on Piccadilly - https://www.henryscafebar.co.uk/piccadilly
Bog-standard cafe bar that does a variety of grub - is acceptable.

Aubaine at 31 Dover Street, Mayfair, always has great (French) food, and feels a bit special without being stuffy.

Aubaine is a very good bet IMO, as well as excellent lunches, they do an all day breakfast, one of which is lobster Benedict, eggs Benedict plus lobster meat, I think that it was £16 or £17, but I haven’t been in there for a few years, so its probably gone up, if it’s still on the menu.https://aubaine.co.uk
There’s always The Wolseley, in Piccadilly, but its not cheap, and it’s a bit like The Ivy, in West Street, people go there more to see, and be seen, than to enjoy the food.

Have you been there lately? 15 or so years ago it was as you describe above, but I used it last Xmas and it's an utter dive now. Stay well away.Bog-standard cafe bar that does a variety of grub - is acceptable.
Trying to think of where else; aside from the obvious chains, Shepherd Market is probably your best bet, plenty of options there.

Not recently. Been a while since I worked that way. Trying to think of where else; aside from the obvious chains, Shepherd Market is probably your best bet, plenty of options there.
