Some lovely touches on the new edition including a more traditional grill and the wings badge is back on the rear smile .

Those alloys are simply art! Wouldn’t like to clean them but would like to see them on a car on my drive every day...

Not really into the Bond-AM theme over the years (although nothing against it for natural connection reasons), but I have to admit I prefer the standard DBSS grille. Interesting to see the more traditional one on it, though. Still appealing.

Those wheels are horrific. I do like the grille though, looks similar to the ONE77. The badge on the boot looks 100 times better than the lettering.

Nice colour too.

IMHO this is stunning and incorporates more traditional Aston Martin with its latest design language/technology . I am so tempted...haven’t said that about a new Aston for a while!

Not so keen on the name or the price premium but hey that’s the world we live in today.

Now let’s see if Aston can fettle the Vantage grille to give a traditional alternative too!

The standard DBSS grabbed me by the feels earlier in the week. The OHMSS edition isn't helping. Utterly wonderful from front to back and top to bottom. I had a glimpse of the gun barrel stitching at the factory and was curious as to what was happening. Lovely lovely lovely.

Did you notice 007 is in the price? - wink

Possibly pure coincidence, but more specials deliveries timed for Q4.

This car together with the Cambridge LM cars and of course Phil's are all stunning colours IMHO.

Can some please explain to me why the feck on a "£250k" car you need to pay extra for a great colour???

I am genuinely intrigued.

Cant help but feel the grill is too big, the rest of the car is beautiful.

FWIW I'm not a fan. To me the standard grille is far nicer and the wheels are too fussy. Love the colour though. But I'm sure there'll be 50 people who actually have the money and whose opinion matters! hehe

Big fan of the wings badge on the boot, not "ASTON MARTIN"...

wow - like it very much. All of it - grill helps the front end and I love the wheels. Reminds me of the kaleidoscope effect in some of the old Bond movies intros.

Striking and a lovely niche for some tastes - some lovely design touches in there. Interior feels a bit retro with that heavy red stitching and seat bolsters' straight 'columns'. Mouth/grille very dominant indeed with slats. I'm shaken but maybe not stirred - all choice is good though smile

Maybe the name is a reference to those who think Aston won’t succeed - resistance is futile...

I saw this at the factory a few weeks ago and being a fan of the original movie (yes I know im in the minority), got very excited having also heard rumours Bond 25 was a remake of OHMSS. I'll be honest I think the colour looks better in the pictures than under the factory lights and although I understand the concept of the wheel modelling, they aren't for me. I didn't see the front as it was parked in the bay but I think using a slatted grille has pronounced its mouth a little too much over the normal honeycomb DBS grille. I had hoped Id seen the car from the upcoming movie but heard it was just a special edition car. You never know!

I still think the DBS59 is a much much nicer version....
