Perfect two car garage for young family - Cayenne AND 911 ?

Hi all,
Long time member, first time poster here. Sorry for the long post:
I have a bit of a first world problem that I was thinking the PH community could help me with. I am due to change my car shortly, its a 2016 BMW 530d Touring. Its been decent for the family (wife + two young children aged 2 and 4) but the PCP is ending and I want to change.
For ages I was considering to get a new diesel Volvo XC 90 to replace the BMW. I think its a classy looking vehicle and loads of space inside for the kids and their stuff.
Additionally, I was going to get a second-hand Porsche 911 997.2 as a second car. I love the understated cool of the 911.
Here is the problem; I test drove the XC90 as well as a Range Rover Vogue, Range Rover Velar, Porsche Cayenne Hybrid and a Tesla Model X. I really liked the Model X but I felt it was too expensive (for what it was) and I am not ready to go full EV for a family car. I absolutely loved the Cayenne Hybrid - fast, smooth and a real quality car. The fact that we could do the daily school run etc in EV mode is a real plus (BMW currently averaging 21 MPG). I would have ordered one already but they have suspended production until Sept the dealer tells me and I don't want to leave a £3k deposit with the dealer until they can confirm the spec etc. I live in London so the Diesels are becoming rapidly less appealing.
I just think I will look like a bit of a wally with a Cayenne and a 911 parked in front of my house!! Its a luxury problem I know, a bit of a silly thing to get bothered about but I don't want to look like such a Porsche fanboy or flash git.
Significant depreciation on a new family SUV is unavoidable, but I like the idea of buying a 997 or similar and it hopefully holding its value over the next 5 years or so (I won't rely on it as an 'investment').
I have also considered an E46 M3 or CSL as a second car alternative but not sure. I am put off by pricing of the CSL. If I stick with the original 997 plan, I have the dilemma of which one to get. I very much like the C4S on the gen 2 cars (I like the design of the rear vs C2). I could afford a decent Turbo also, love its legendary status but I find the massive spoiler a bit of turn off (don't want to look too flash - see above). I have seen on this forum people saying that the C4S could depreciate over the mid to long term, and the Turbos are overpriced.
I would appreciate the advice of the community on this:
Are there any alternatives to the 997 or M3 that are cool, fun to drive and shouldn't depreciate too much over a 5 year period?
Should I get over myself and get the Cayenne and the 911?
Which 997 to get?

Here's the thing you know what cars you like so get them, as for waiting for the Hybrid why not get a lightly used one that's already lost a bit depreciation wise & that way you'll have more to spend on a very nice 997.

You may spend a bit more on fuel but the 5 year warranty & 3 years of servicing should ease the pain plus you'll have a stupid grin on your face every time you use it.

ker. I was considering buying my wife an A-class Merc but then we'd have three Mercs on the drive and that would become a 'thing'. I bought her a Polo Gti, she loves it, and I am able to sleep at night.wow! Came on here to post almost exactly the same question!
I have a budget of around 110k for a two car garage with a baby due. One needs to be an SUV. Currently have a facelift RS3 which would effectively become my commuting car and was looking at a GLC63S for the family / wife / weekend car.
Also considering a 991 911.
So will be watching this with interest!

I would get the XC90 and a 911.
I think a CSL is cooler but they are overpriced unless you're really into them. You might want to look at S63 AMG coupes...amazing cars but far from depreciation proof

I am not to worried about the scratches and dents in London. Around where I live it’s very suburban and folks are generally decent.
The 911 Turbo is the most crazy I would go. I have however considered a Maclaren MP4 12C. I would lose the two small seats in the back (bad) but I consider it to be a proper rare and cool looking super car. I much prefer it to the more modern Maclarens. Not sure about long term values though. I wouldn’t expect them to depreciate too much ?
