I first fitted a single speed wiper motor from a Mini into my Geep. I've just upgraded it to a new 14W 2 speed Lucas motor. The large central cog is rated at 110 degrees (which is the position of the drive peg rather than the number of teeth on the cog) and seems to do the job fine.

Have a look at:

www.s-v-c.co.uk/

They have a good Wiper section aimed at Mini wiper systems, contains quite a lot of info so worth a read.

Drop me a line if you want to know more.

If you have no luck with finding them off a scrapper, new wheelboxes will be available from LSUK I would think.
Heres a link - give your local branch a call.

Check out the FAQ page on www.joctechnical.org.uk re the different wiper box types. There are usually just the two versions.

seen my mate yesterday he is building a kit car and using wiper motor from a scimator as you can adjust both arms to virtual any position you want.
