Early Morning Prang

What a great start to the day, not only was it raining but on leaving hammersmith and on my way to the m40 I had some woman drive into the left backside of me :( She then bounced off me and into someone else.

Got 2 nice 12 inch scratches down the back wing, not sure if its cracked as was p*ssing it down.

Then on restarting my journey halfway to work on the m40 the engine slowly ground to a halt and stopped, turned off ignition and restarted and all seemed fine again, co incidence or related?!?

Does anyone know of a good body / paint shop in SW London area - or further afield - I can get quote / repair from? I know the insurance company will try and get me to do it cheaply but screw them want it done properly!

Yep she had to stop, she was wedged between our two cars! Got all her details etc, just gutting as spent ages cleaning, waxing etc last nite and then it rained and got crashed into

Bad luck! Could the fuel pump inertia cut-off have been affected by the impact?

Yeah id check the Inertia thingymabob first as it is (as far as i know) designed to cut the fuel-pump in the event of an accident to stop fuel spillage.

However it was 'pissing' down so could just simply be a wet hiccup..

Anyone else got any thoughts of wisdom?
