Congrats...please post up pics of the new car and driving impressions - would be interested to read the comparison.
Engine is really nice, but does feel like its restrictedSports exhaust just isn't loud or spicey enough
Front end just feels a little disconnected
On a cruise with the roof up its very well insulated
No issue with the autobox
Boxster GTS feels more go-kart like, more agile.
Neither perfect, but for A/B fun I would have the Boxster, but for daily and fun etc I'd have the R8.

Coupe. I tested a Spyder and whilst it sounded awesome, it didn't corner well. Coupe is much more rigid.
Edit: just reserved a 2014 R8 V10 Plus in Nogaro Blue
Dropped a car off at Ashgoods and your old Gts was there. Didnt realise you traded it ?Edit: just reserved a 2014 R8 V10 Plus in Nogaro Blue

Yup, Mike gave me close to what I paid for it. I'd already reserved a V10 plus so wanted it out the door.
Shame because I was selling it for 46k and they've listed it for 50k. Someone could've got a good deal.
Yeah they did say what they got it for. I always like having a coffee and a chat with them.Shame because I was selling it for 46k and they've listed it for 50k. Someone could've got a good deal.
