wheel balancing

just got 2 wheels back from the garage after having 2 tyres changed, and they`ve got ugly nasty balance wieghts stuck on the nice shiny rims, s**t!................. groan.

Take them back..... Get them to put them on the inside.... Lazy Ba$tud... Must have been the apprentice.

Had mine done last week and they put them on the inside. Give the insides a good clean or they won't stay on long.

fitter said they had to go on the outside, to balance up outer rim, I think I`ll put the wheels on the rear axle, and throw the crappy , ugly, sticky back plastic - probably designed on Blue Peter, naff looking things in next doors garden, or even use them as fishing weights!!!

You will knacker your bearings through prolonged use like that.
