718 Manual - Throttle Blip?
Discussion
Can someone who owns a 718 manual without Sport Chrono tell me if pressing the centre console Sport button activates throttle blips when down shifting?
I know Sport Chrono throttle blips in Sport and Sport+, but I read on other forums the UK manuals without SC also have this feature in Sport mode.
Also do you find the clutch stiff? Drove a 718 T manual at local OPC and the clutch was stiffer than I expected (felt like clutch on my 2004 Forester XT).

I have a manual 718 S without sport chrono.
In Sport mode you get extra pops and crackles changing up and down but it is not consistent - more noticeable when the engine is cold and when you are more aggressive changing gear. But it is not an autoblip happening everytime
The clutch is moderately heavy but depends on what you are used to. I drive mine every day and don't notice it. But I also have a Golf R and a 1 series convertible both of which have clutches a lot lighter - if I drive one of them for qutie a bit e.g. the Golf on holiday with family and then come back to the 718 it feels heavy for the first few mins and after that is fine. But if I were driving it all the time in town stop start traffic it would become wearing after a while and would probably recommend PDK for that reason. I chose manual because of the greater interaction
