Found an Interesting Music Resource for Guitar
Discussion
Whilst idly browsing the /mu/ sub-forum on 4chan earlier, I noticed this:-
https://mega.nz/#F!KIoilagC!3KtnUYdTW53VsQu9QrJS_g
(I have checked it, and it's safe as are the downloads)
What we have is a free to use resource that includes various .pdf's and other downloadable documents on stuff including:-
> Alternative tunings
> Music theory
> Playing
> Schematics
> Tabs
So far, I've downloaded the tabs for Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. If nothing else, I've seen that some of Gilmour's fills in the tune Breathe are totally different to how I've played them over the years.
Personally, I'm looking forward to browsing the theory section as it's a subject I've been exploring more and more over the last 12 months.

Bumping for another useful site:-
https://chordbook.com/guitar-chords/
Stuck for a particular voicing for a Dm7b9 chord? Plug in your root note and desired fret and voila
Also, under the "Learn Guitar" section, there are a few tasty "Jam Tracks" that let you noodle an improvised solo 'til your heart's content

I've subscribed to "Signals Music Studio" on YT for about 18 months now, finding Jake's stuff on basic guitar music theory very interesting. If nothing else, he's shown that The Beatles really were very clever song writers (even if the tunes themselves do nothing for me).
Anyway.
I re-visited his lesson earlier on the phrygian dominant scale, and he mentioned this channel:-
https://www.youtube.com/user/chussssss/videos
It's guitar backing tracks in various keys / styles / modes etc. No particular songs, just backing tracks in (say) Em blues / E Lydian Rock / "Dreamy" backing track in A Mixolydian flat 6. The production is excellent, and allows you to just solo away in a particular mode / scale over the correct chords. I've spent the last hour noodling over "Super Funky Time Groove in E Dorian", and it was immensely satisfying.
If you're like me, not in a band, this channel looks like just the ticket for polishing improvised solos.

An audacious bump, this.
As mentioned in a previous post of mine, "chusss" is a great channel for improvising solos over certain chord changes in a given key.
Earlier, chusss posted up his noodling over this backing track:-

55bpm in the style of Pink Floyd, it is super.
Key of Em (Dorian scale works best for me, with sprinklings of Em pentatonic), I spent a happy 20 minutes earlier improvising over this.

Another bump.
About 12 months ago, I discovered a site "guitarbackingtrack.com" which was a bit hit & miss but the good ones were very good (there was one for Sultans of Swing which was excellent). Anyway, a few months ago, the entire site was taken down.
Completely out of the blue, earlier, a YT channel was suggested to me as a "You May Like".
It's this:-
https://www.youtube.com/user/riglinks/videos
I did a "test drive" on Time by Pink Floyd, and the Blues in C earlier and can confirm they are bob on!
