Incredible! Any idea what sort of minute miles he is running?

He's uploading it to Strava and seems to be averaging around the 7:30/km (12 minute mile) mark, dropping down to 10/km in the past couple of days. Think that includes stopping.

Looks like he’s pulled out, wasn’t hitting pacing targets so wasn’t going to set a new record

Is that the reason?

I watched his twitter feed but one post it was going fine and on track, the next post he was stopping.

I thought he'd been injured or something.

Seems a bit odd not to continue, even if you know you're behind the pace. Would surely give you experience for a follow up attempt?

The Dot does indeed suggest he is back in Wandsworth, but I see nothing on the feed or facebook about what happened

I think James could do with a couple of lessons in updating social media. Was a very quiet attempt compared to others I have seen
