Just had a engine rebuild in full. New clutch and flywheel. Car drives great but after only a few miles struggling to get reverse

Was the gearbox showing signs of issues before the engine work? Who carried out the specified work?

The engine was rebuilt by Hartech in Bolton.
Nothing was mentioned about gearbox as it was all checked as being reasembled

Talking it through with Hartech on Tues would be the normal course of action.

Might just need the cables adjusting.

That's my 1st point of call!
It says 12 months warranty. And it's due back with tbem after 2000 miles. The garage I bought it from did the brake fluid ect change after the rebuild. Would that have anything to do with it
