Hi all,
I'm considering to buy a 2016 Kia and have a worry about the service history
Services for years 1 & 2 were done in March (correctly) but then the car was Sorned in Jan 2019 and the Service for 2019 (3rd service) was missed as per schedule. The garage said they would service before sale.. but does this invalidate the Kia 7 year warranty?
I tried ask Kia but they are close for the bank holiday and the car is only reserved till Monday
Any advice would be welcome

I had a Kia and found the Warranty good. Repairs at 5-6 Years Old with no quibbles.
A missed Service doesn't mean no Warranty but they may not cover an Engine Fault for example.

Personally, I would wait until Kia confirm one way or the other.
Surely one of the main reasons for buying one is the Warranty.

There's a KIA sitting at one of my local garages and the owner told me that kia won't honour the warranty because it had not been serviced as per the schedule. It's a long warranty to lose out on so as already said I'd get kia to confirm in writing. Their head office mind, not a local dealership.
