E46 320cd coupe sport facelift MV2 spacers???
Discussion
(Beginners guide)
Im sure this has been covered elsewhere anyway,
i have standard mv2s on standard sport suspension
Front 225/40/18 and rear 255/35/18 tyres
Im thinking about getting 12mm spacers for the front and 15mm for the rear
Just worried if the rears might rub or not or should i go 12mm all round just to be safe?
I hardly have a car full of passengers however it is my daily and the roads around here arent brilliant. Which brands to go for etc?

If you’re not lowered on coil overs, you should be fine
Personally, I’d go 12mm all round and take it from there
Bimecc spacers are very good, but so are Mtec’s own; ‘mteconlineshop’ on eBay sell both, so see what they can do for you. Precision Engineering on eBay also sell very well pads spacers, c£25 a pair
I’d also recommend their 82mm stud conversion kit, it’s c£55 IIRC and makes life easier when it comes to alloys, spacers and faffing with longer bolts! Plus it’s a safer option too...

That sounds like a great idea - it's so much easier changing a wheel when there are studs and nuts (and I change mine twice a year as I use winters).Im not lowered and tbh i dont plan on lowering either, as the car gets used daily around s
tty roads, however im thinking about 20mm all round, by bimecc,
Will i need to roll rear arches?
Front on 20mm is fine I think,
And mv2 on coupes are generally more forgiving, when running spacers than saloons or convertibles
