Finding a song about space facts.
Discussion
Hi,
Bit of a weird one. When I was a kid I remember a song my dad use play on his record player. It’s not really a song but it’s a guy narrating space facts like the distance of the planets and the sun from earth. It must be from the 70’s or 80’s but can’t find it anywhere. Any ideas ?
Cheers

My bet is that it was Albedo 0.39 by Vangelis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kDXADYUgqk
Great for nerd points at school, but not one of his better ones. Pulsar from the same album is better.

Legend, Albedo 0.39. It’s been bugging me for a while. Forgot to mention it wasn’t the Monty Python track before anyone suggested!!

I vaguely remember a record that might have had two performers. One (who might have been female) was singing a romantic song. Whenever she came to a romantic space-related phrase such as "the moon in June" a nerdy guy would come in and give a perfect explanation of the phenomenum thereby killing the romance. Unfortunately I can't remember who it was either.
