Main dealer cars do short journey's daily, bad buy?

Basically, my Dad is thinking about buying a car from a BMW main dealer and the main dealer is situated in a smaller town outside the city centre. Some of the staff (possibly all of them) are allowed to take cars that are for sale home on evenings and weekends.
Which means that a brand new car has 150 miles worth of short journeys on the clock already. So imagine having 2x 3min drives per day on the car for the first 150 miles.
The reason I know is that I live in the same town and so do all of the staff so I see them on a daily basis driving the cars home and parking them on their drive at night and we saw the car we're interested in parked on a driveway.
Is this something I should be put off by or will the cars still be ok because they are new?
