I'm thinking about replacing my old Panasonic plasma with a 55" OLED, which of the following would you recommend?

Philips 55OLED803

LG OLED55C8PLA

Panasonic TX55FZ802B

I'm no expert when it comes to home cinema, I've tried reading reviews but I can't really tell which of these would be best (or if there's another one I've missed).

I recently bought a LG B8 for 978 from RS. My research suggested it is best in class, and that the C8 isn't really worth the extra cash.

If you are replacing, make it an upgrade, and go for a 65" OLED

I’ve got the Panasonic and think it’s brilliant.

I have the pleasure (!) of seeing lots of TV's here at work;
my own money went on a B8 LG OLED
IMHO nothing to touch it for the money

They are all probably very good - I have the LG B8 55 inch Oled & it’s very impressive. If you can get to have a look at all the pictures in the same kind of viewing environment, either Richersounds or somewhere else like John Lewis.

Then you can make a decision on picture quality, sound, price, length of warranty etc.
