Hi all...
I’ve read a few posts on here regarding knocking suspension, but mines not ‘quite’ a knock. It’s more a rattle and to be honest it feels like it’s coming from under the dash. Like the wiper linkage is loose for example.
I’m wondering if it’s the top mounts on the struts. I’m about to start the whole re-bushing process.
So when I’m driving along an uneven surface, I get a rattle... anyone else got or had this issue?
All the best.

There are simply dozens of places a rattle can come from. One persons rattle is no indication of yours. You need to isolate and cure, otherwise you will be chasing it forever, or replacing everything in sight until you find it. Rebushing everything is like shooting a mouse with a shotgun.

It would be cheaper to pay a professional their going rate to try and find it rather than replacing parts at random.

Has it always been like that? The DB9 sport had a shorter suspension travel and stiffer springs - this means that it does wallop and crash about over potholes and bad roads.

Personally I don't think they should have done it - they should have let it whaft about like a proper GT.
