Something that I wondered yesterday when watching the Monaco race was if a car such as LeClerc’s sustained some significant damage due to a tire blow out, or some other damage, what would happen in the event of them finishing high up the grid?

Could they be weighed and penalized for being under weight? Or are they not THAT close to the limit?

What happens if you win the race and then stick the car in the wall on the way back to the pits?

As far as I remember, they're allowed to fit identical parts if anything is damaged that much.

But considering the damage on Leclerc's floor yesterday, I'd presume having less weight wouldn't have been an advange!

Of course. However at most circuits, the Ferrari would likely be in the top 5/6 probably even with that damage.
