Places to eat out in Bristol Centre...?

Having a team meeting in Bristol centre on Thursday....

Need a nice place to Eat / Drink for about 10 people.

Any suggestion please...

their is a nice italian situated close to Ann summers by the center. been their a few times and the food is very nice

For the city centre try:

Hotel Du Vin - Just along from the Hippodrome.
Loch Fynn - Welsh Back (Back of Queen Square).
Jamesons - Opposite BRI Hospital.

There is a very nice little Italian up a wide steep alley very near the city centre. It is only about two minutes walk from the Brigstow Hotel (I stayed there a few months ago and it is very smart indeed).

Can't remember the name, but it is easy to find. Family run, great food. Good wine list.

Daz and Batty have made good suggestions (but IME the Mud Dock service has been pretty useless). The Olive Shed is good and overlooks the docks (to be fair so does Severn Shed). The Firehouse Rotisserie is a good steak place near the docks. Howards at the end of the docks is good, but my favourite is probably Bells Diner in Montpelier.

I agree with Piglet: Loch Fyne is very good.

Zero Degrees is good if you want somewhere a bit more lively.

Bocanova www.bocanova.co.uk is also great but can turn in to a £50/head extraveganza if you attack the wine menu with some gusto....

Double Dutch is a possibility if you want to go down the gut-busting pancake route.

Mud Dock has gone down hill a long way, in my opinion, but is a great place to watch the world go by.

There are loads to choose from!

Glass Boat - right outside the aforementioned Brigstow if I remember correctly - and a GREAT location. Food has always been good for me ... but, as with anywhere, others have been dissappointed.
