GT3 Exhaust Valves

If I disconnect the vacuum valves will it make a big difference on a standard exhaust ?

JWW did this on a Sharkwerks bye pass and it made a difference on the down shifts.

Yes it will make a difference but only under specific vacuum conditions - obviously the improvement is far greater with the installation of a Sharkwerks bypass pipe like we did on Mr JWW car.

Disconnected them on my 991.1 GT3 which resulted in better sounds at low speed and ambling around but the droning at c50mph cruising speeds became tiresome.

Can't really imagine why you would want to up the sound on the gen 2 which is much better than the 1.

991.2 needs a bypass imo, sounds amazing, also buy an after market valve switch, then you can have it on and off when you wish, not rev depending.

I went with jcr as it,s a UK brand and made of titanium so ultra light.
Jonny always makes top end well thought out parts, and is a pro race driver so they get tested to the limits, with his contacts in the trade I think they have no equals.

I was just a little disappointed oem after the GT4 , and a simple bypass did the trick and also saves the weight and adds a little bhp.

It's a shame to cover them up....





As well as sounding amazing, they're also very light.

The JCR center bypass and tips i fitted to my GT3 transformed the character of the car..It looks like you've gone a step further with your JCR racepipe which must sound amazing..
JCR is now top dog in the aftermarket exhaust business IMO..

Yes , it sounds fantastic! About to get my cats changed to 200-cell affairs too, as I suspect the originals are past their best in terms of flow. Can't see a downside to this, so will give it a go....

price is the only downside :-)

I think side muffler delete but with the silenced by pass would be a good fit and save what 25 to 30 kg in weight and give you 2 complete different sounds PSE on and off.

I was early in with JCR so only 2 products available, I went for the non silenced bypass which sounds great, but in hind site the above would be the way to go imo although it might be a bit too loud for normal use.
