short wheelbase jago????????
Discussion
We looked at a very early one which was for spares/ repairs/ bonfire, and it was shorter, a bit of room inthe back for a dog but not for swinging any cats about. We tookoffthe back lights which went to a point on the top which may be a clue to donor vehicle ? Anglia
Might have some pics somewhere if I hunt around

Just had a look at it - Item number: 4552324221
I don't think its 'short wheelbase', just looks that way with the bigger wheels, taller hood & wider back arches.
Its an early model for sure & says its Mk2 based although the instruments are Mk1 Escort - a bitsa methinks.
All in all though its one of the best early Geeps i've seen. The blue one up in Scotland looks like a minter as well. A good week for Ebay.

I tried the "S" reg'd red one too Dave and got nowhere , thought it might be useful to me. The other "short" red one if I remember rightly is black on system and hasnt been taxed for a while.....
I fancied the Colwyn Bay rolling shell , its the famous Rhyll one back to haunt us ( Swizz sent me details last night) but it had already gone on a buy-it-now @ £250 when I looked this morning...!
I always assumed the Anglia-based kits used the same length shell , I know the wheelbase is shorter , only time will tell
