Appropriate to mention collars and cuffs matching or too soon? smile

There was a trend recently for ladies to dye their hair grey even if they were not going grey.

Yup grey is the new blonde. The medieval look is where it's at.

Even for the youngest of female snowflakes.

Similarly grey is also one of the most popular colours for cars atm.

Like the white Apple affect hugely boosted white car sales over recent years.

Strange thing fashion. rolleyes

Together with also making themselves look like they were closer to death with far too much badly applied makeup, either that or yellow and jaundiced. Together with those fur lined Council boots they were doing a great impression of someones 90yr old gran.
It was a great look.

Another vote here for abstaining from the dyes.

My wife and I (both in our mid 30's) have embraced the silver tones. I'm very much "salt & pepper" (with more of the salt) and Mrs Crunklefloop has a very distinct streak of grey on one side (it's very striking and I love it).

What's interesting is we both quite often receive comments on how "cool" it looks and how "I wish I could have some grey".

Funny how ideals change.

I think it's a great look. There comes a tipping point where dye starts to look pathetic. Those that insist on sticking to it wind up looking very ragged.

As you have absolutely no idea what regime any of these women follow, any point you think you may have is decidedly moot, surely?

If they have cuffs?! wink

My wife is naturally a redhead. At 54 she has quite some white hairs on her head, but I don't find it's an issue at all. They're more like highlights.
I'm 48 and I have quite a lot of white hairs on the sides of my head, and my beard's mostly white when it grows. It'd be stupid now to "Just for Men". Male colleagues do that and it looks ridiculous!

I've 2 ladies who work for me, one mid 40s the other's 50, and they're both getting their hair coloured to hide the white hairs - at enormous expense - almost monthly.

Embrace the white hair!

I’m inclined to disagree op; my friends wife has decided to let her grey show and tbh it just ages her. It’s not more dignified or anything like that.

Of course it depends on the girl, her hair style/natural colour and other stuff I don’t understand.

A school friend of mine went grey in her teens and had been dyeing her hair ever since, and you would never know.

My wife has is in her mid forties and has a few grey hairs.

It doesn't bother me one iota, and I much prefer it to the vile smell of the chemicals when she used to have it dyed.

If she's happy with it then all is good as far as I'm concerned.

My wife is 52 and starting to go a bit grey. She's not worried and neither am I.

My guess is that she dyes her hair, but leaves a bit of grey to fool people into thinking she doesn't.

I'm 53 and white all over on top. I've no problems with it but at 20 my hairdresser recommended grey highlights! I must have an old face, or I could have been trendy before it was trendy smile
OH has grey in blonde which I like, it doesn't look right dyed

OH is 45 and she has to dye her hair every month or it would look like the woman in the OP.

I'm 40, but I look about 30, so if she were to do that, people might think she was my mother. No thanks biggrin

There is a lady in my town who from behind looks like she is mid 20s, amazing in her jeans, slim, often in a trendy pink hoody, carrying a fashionable handbag, long blonde hair, as I said, amazing from behind.

But, From the front she looks like Dorian Gray's Portrait.

Its caught lots of us chaps out.
