I've just bought a Samsung 49" QE49Q6FN and want to wall mount it, but also want it as close to wall as possible. Any recommendations for a bracket that will do this? Getting a bit confused by all the different types on t'interent!

Cheers

Loads on amazon from about £10 up. All pretty much do the same.

Bit of advice though, go for one that allows the TV to swing out on an arm. It's adds to the depth but makes it so much easier to deal with when cabling etc.

I've a samsung 50 and although it's light, it's bloody awkward to get on and off a flush mount.

Do Samsung not do the zero gap mount for that model?

Cheers for replies. I did a bit of digging and found you can't get a normal close to wall mount (for some reason most say will fit QLED models, but not the qe49q6fn??) so I contacted Samsung technical support and they said the only mount they do (that will get it close to the wall) is a WMN650M. It actually looks a neat little mount but Samsung technical support said you can't fix it plasterboard for some reason. I'm no good at DIY myself so probably just have to buy it and throw it at my mate and say.. "fix this on wall, dude" smile

I fitted a bracket from https://www.invisiontvbrackets.com/ last year. Reasonable price, good design and manufacture.

I've got a 65" Samsung hanging off one of those. It works great.

It looks so flimsy! Is the tv secure if you accidentally catch it when you walk past it? It looks a great value for money alternative... just need convincing it's not going to fall off the wall!

I also have a 55" hanging off one of these and its great. A lot more solid that it look and is cheap and easy to install. Even if the mounts are not level you can still level the TV.
Think of it as a glorified picture hanger.
