2017 Vogue with SVO Kit

Looking into buying a 2017ish Vogue, however I like the look of the SVO kit with exhaust, why is there a 15k difference just for a bodykit.

Am I missing the point?

the SVO kit was a £12k option from the factory and is purely visual.. certainly don't see how it can add £15k of value to a car.

a lot of SVO kits are being fitted to non factory spec'd cars, and I imagine (just guessing) that most of those SVO kits that are retrofitted probably aren't genuine LR parts.

love the SVO kit myself, would happily entertain an SVO'd 5.0 Autobiog

Yeah I think I’m right in saying all the kits are retro fitted even when ordered new. Nice but not worth the extra £10-12k imho. Also an approved JLR body centre admitted to me that they never get the paint as hard as the factory finish. Softer paint on front of car will suffer more pitting.
