Basically I'm going back to full time employment so no longer need a van, and want a fun car to get to work.

Im thinking of Leasing a new car, as my experience with used cars shows me I end up spending all my time and money repairing the fking things!

I really want a Mustang GT, but the best lease deal I can find for 36 months, 6 months upfront and 8K miles/Year is around £600/Month.
This seems a tad high to me, considering I've been leasing a £30K van for £300/Month!

Is this probably the best sort of deal Im likely to get on a GT?

Sorry to the finance haters.....

Good lease deals only usually crop up when the manufacturer has oversupply and is putting some financial support behind the lease deals. Not likely to happen on a low volume car like the Mustang, but it’s been known.

Brokers don’t seem to have any real discounts on the Mustang, and Ford’s own finance rates are pretty high on it.

It all points to a car with no oversupply issues where if you want a new one at this point you pretty much have to pay what they’re asking.

Why not get a loan (as the APR will be much lower) on a used example extend the Manufacturer's Warranty & you have the peace of mind, these are great cars & the running costs are sensible too obviously excluding fuel but that'll be down to you & your foot wink

Another good coupe with sensible maintenance costs is the RC-F which you can still extend the warranty on.

You can only extend the warranty on new fords to 5 years before it's registered, don't know about used cars

I bought a GT last year , 2017 run out models on PCP , it was 6k down £350 a month 18k balloon 38 months on 0%

The 2018-19 cars have a lot more tech on them to get the ncap rating up so are 10k dearer which probably accounts for the £600 a month when you factor interest in as well

There were a few of the 2017 models about earlier in the year but I'd think most of these will have been registered now.
Edit
There are a few on autotrader with delivery miles under 40k , these are the old shape without the bonnet vents , bear in mind that if list was over 40k they're £500 tax for 5 years , mine is under that so £140 a year

Thanks guys, looking at the used values these seem to hold there value well at the moment! So PCP may be better, as gives the option too buy for £20K at the end if the values are still good!

Been on CarWow (the dealers must really hate this!)

Been offered one for £40328, with £5K deposit then £566 X 37 months and a £20268 balloon if want to buy at the end.
This is on a brand new factory order. (this is cheaper than the lease deals I can find, with the bonus of the option to buy).

Considering the older model on a 16 plate are still fetching £30K, I feel the new model could be better value, plus get all the new kit! and full warranty.

Just waiting to find out the delivery lead time, if its more than a few months I will just look for a nearly new model.

Actually, just found this one with pretty much delivery miles, I quite like the "Fury Orange", so will see if I can get a PCP quote from these.
