As per title. Pulled out of a side road onto main and car almost dies - get revs up drop clutch and she almost dies again - get revs up and get going but I’m running on 5 cylinders at best
After a bit of investigation I find that the offside bank (drivers side) of injectors aren’t firing - if I pull off the caps to the middle 2 injectors the idle is slightly better
Limp home
“Borrow” the power resistor from my boys 390 - normal running is restored
There’s a few power resistors for sale on eBay (all used) so Ordered one up and fingers crossed it’s serviceable.
In other news I'm really enjoying the wedge again smile

Found this on another thread
Can anyone confirm the resistance of the 2PR unit (supply to load ???) I’m getting 66 ohms on most of mine except 2 (the faulty ones I imagine) of 125 ohms
The drawing above states 6 ohms +\- 1 ohm??

Hi Ron

I had a good spare you could of had...make sure the plug is fully home as they tend to hang a bit...the board inside feels loose but thats how it is....

Possibly you didn't spot the decimal point on the multimeter so it might be 6.6 or 12.5 (with the lead resistance that sounds about OK).

Anyhow the new one should sort it out.

Hi all
Re - tested with my work multimeter and tested up as suggested by Adam above
Tried my cheap eBay multimeter again and same result as before 66 /125 ohms (definitely no decimal point)
The battery is low though so may be having an effect but 10x reading is s bit odd
As said - replacement on its way which should restore order
Thanks to Penelope for the info thumbup
