Had this a few weeks now, replaced my beloved M2 which had to go due to a neck injury that was just not getting better, needed something more forgiving ride-wise. Massaging dynamic seats on this help!

It’s a 2012 car and seems to be very well looked after, and after a few hours cleaning it, came up nicely

I had a F10 M5 previously which I bought new in 2015 so it’s interesting to compare, with this costing a third of the price!

Performance wise, not much in it overall but a different delivery. The M5 was ballistic, especially at high revs, this is more sledgehammer grunt

Infotainment is solid, but very dated in feel

Sound. Lol is the best description. It’s very angry

Plans are to get rid of some annoying squeaks, get the wheels properly refurbished as they are a joke close up, maybe some kind of remap. I’m not going to go mad as I’m an AMG convert already and will probably change it to a newer one next year

Hope you like

You'll have some fun results after you remap it.

These were on my radar when I ended up getting my XFR earlier this year, looks a lovely example. I like that they still look really modern with the private plate on as well.

That's the one area where I find the 5.5's a smidge off the 6.2 in the noise & throttle response department, these are the only reasons why my dad is considering going back to a gen one CL63.

Looks lovely that, good in that colour too.

I have the previous gen CLS63 and love it, albeit the n/a V8 rather than the newer turbo unit.
